Díky mým dlouhodobým zkušenostem z působení v Asii mohu studentům předávat nejen teoretické znalosti, ale i praktické vhledy do tamního architektonického kontextu.
At the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, I teach and lead the course Architecture in Asia, where students and I explore the architecture of Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity. We also focus on the traditional architecture of India, Vietnam, Japan, Tibet, Mongolia, and Indonesia, analyzing the mutual influences between Asian and European architecture, particularly in the context of colonialism. Additionally, we examine modern and contemporary architecture in Asia.
Thanks to my long-term experience working in Asia, I can provide students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical insights into the local architectural context.

Come and discover how 🏛️ modern architecture connects with exotic culture and traditions. I will share with you inspiring stories from my designs and realization of projects in a tropical environment 🌺 as well as the challenges that this work brings. Finally, I will introduce the new subject Architecture in Asia, which I will teach at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University 📚 from the summer semester – and which will introduce you to the fascinating world of Asian architecture 🌏. I look forward to seeing you! 😊

From November 2024, I am teaching a new course Designing the City: Creative Approaches to Urbanism, which will focus on designing modern and sustainable cities. The course is prepared in cooperation with the SKVOT platform. Detailed information, program and course outline can be found here ⬆️.

It is important to give young students experience in the field of architecture
